By accessing or using the Policy--Bot platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

A. Account Responsibility

You must register for an account using Clerk to use key aspects of the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

B. Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to upload any content, code, or data that violates third-party intellectual property, privacy rights, or contains malicious payloads.

C. Rate Limits and Abuse

We enforce rate limits on bot queries and document ingesting to maintain service stability and guard against abuse. Circumventing or attempting to bypass these limits is strictly prohibited.

3. Content Ownership and Licenses

A. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, URLs, and customization rules you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and chunk this data solely for serving vector search answers on your behalf.

B. AI-Generated Outputs

We do not claim any copyright on responses generated by the AI model. You are solely responsible for how you display, utilize, or publish these responses.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE AI RESPONSES WILL BE 100% ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL POLICY--BOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in abusive usage patterns.

6. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make updates, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
