When you register for an account using Clerk, we collect registration information such as your name, email address, and authentication details.

B. Ingested Data

We store and process the documents, URLs, text, and other files you upload ("Ingested Data") to train and customize your AI agents. This data is converted into vector embeddings via our RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline.

C. Conversation History

We retain the conversation histories (messages, sources, metadata) generated through the playground and the embeddable widgets for auditing, analytics, and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes, including to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Policy--Bot platform.
• Scope and serve relevant answers for end-user conversations via the chatbot widget.
• Analyze usage metrics, performance data, and rate limits to secure the system.
• Respond to customer support inquiries and send administrative updates.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only under the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers (such as Supabase for database hosting, Gemini/Google AI for model generation, and Clerk for authentication) to help us run the platform.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your account and data, including SSL encryption, strict backend API route isolation, and Row Level Security (RLS) policies on database tables. However, no transmission method over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
